How to Withdraw Your Earnings to M-Pesa or EcoCash in Lesotho
Step by step: adding your M-Pesa or EcoCash wallet, reading the quote in LSL, the 48-hour security check and when the money arrives.
Earnify Africa pays members in Lesotho in loti (plural maloti) (LSL) to M-Pesa, EcoCash or a bank account. Your Lesotho page shows which of these are open today. This guide walks through a withdrawal from start to finish.
Before you start
- Confirm your email address. Withdrawals stay locked until you do.
- Have your wallet number ready, and the name it is registered in. Use a wallet in your own name, on a number you still use.
- Check the minimum for your method with the calculator on the Lesotho page. It also shows which methods are open today.
Step 1: add your M-Pesa or EcoCash wallet
Open Withdraw, choose M-Pesa (run by Vodacom Lesotho) or EcoCash (run by Econet Telecom Lesotho) and enter the wallet number and name. We email you a code to confirm it, so nobody else can add a wallet to your account. The details are encrypted, and afterwards you only see the last digits.
Step 2: read the quote
Enter how much you want to withdraw. The quote shows the amount in LSL, the processing fee and its percentage, the exact amount that will reach your wallet, and the points used. The fee is taken from the amount, never added on top. A quote is held for a few minutes; if it runs out, request a new one at the current rate.
Step 3: confirm
Nothing moves until you confirm. Larger withdrawals ask for a code from your email first.
Step 4: the 48-hour security check
Every withdrawal waits at least 48 hours for a security check before it is paid. That protects you if someone else ever gets into your account. During that time we check that the request came from you and that the rewards behind it were confirmed by our partners. You can follow the status in your withdrawal history.
Step 5: payment to your wallet
After the check, the money is sent to your M-Pesa or EcoCash wallet or your bank account. The calculator shows the usual timing for each method; bank transfers usually take longer than mobile money.
If something goes wrong
- Wrong number: you can cancel a withdrawal while it is still waiting for the security check; the points return to your balance.
- Name mismatch: wallet providers can refuse a payment when the name does not match the wallet. Use the name exactly as registered.
- Still waiting after the hold: contact support with the withdrawal reference.
Earnify will never ask for your mobile money PIN, your bank password or the codes we email you.
