Earnify Africa · Legal

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 12 October 2026

1. Who is responsible

ABODIGITAL (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2015/253782/07), owner of Earnify, based in Sandton, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa, decides how your personal information is used for Earnify Africa and is responsible for it. Privacy contact (Information Officer): info@earnify.co.za.

This policy covers Earnify Africa accounts on the website and in the app. It is read together with our Terms of Service.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Account: first and last name, email address, mobile number, the country you choose, a password (stored only as a secure hash), and an optional referral code.
  • Declarations: that you are 18 or older and that you accept the Terms and this policy, each with the date. We do not ask for your date of birth.
  • Payout details: what your chosen method needs, for example the mobile money number and the name on the wallet, or bank name, account number, account holder and branch code, or a name and phone number for cash collection. These are encrypted when stored and shown to you only in part (for example •••• 3456).
  • Withdrawals: amounts, fees, exchange rate, quote, status, payment reference and the codes you use to confirm.
  • Support and requests: messages you send us and privacy requests.

We do not collect identity documents or ID numbers for Earnify Africa accounts. If the law of your country or a payout partner ever requires an identity check, we will tell you what is needed and why before asking.

Information created when you use Earnify

  • IP address, browser or app and device details, sign-in and security events.
  • Offers you start and complete, partner references, rewards, wallet transactions and referrals.
  • Fraud and security signals, such as repeated attempts or payout details shared between accounts (compared using a one-way code, not the details themselves).

3. Why we use it

  • To create, secure and run your account, including the country-specific withdrawal options.
  • To show offers, confirm completions and credit rewards.
  • To quote, review, pay and reconcile withdrawals, and to prove a payment was made.
  • To prevent fraud, duplicate accounts and misuse.
  • To send you security codes, withdrawal updates and service messages. Marketing emails are optional and you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To keep the records the law requires, handle complaints and resolve disputes.

We use your information because it is needed to provide the service you signed up for, to meet legal duties, for our legitimate interest in running a secure and honest service, or with your consent where consent is needed. If you withdraw consent, earlier use stays lawful, but some features may stop working.

4. Who receives it

  • Payout partners: licensed payment and money-transfer companies receive what a payout needs: your name, the receiving number or account, the amount, currency and our reference. We will name a partner here once it is used to deliver Earnify Africa payouts. They handle that information under their own privacy notices and legal duties.
  • Offer partners: the survey, game or offer company whose offer you open receives a reference for your account, your device and network details and your activity in their offer, under their own privacy notice (currently: AyetStudios, CPX Research, TheoremReach, TimeWall, Klink).
  • Service providers: hosting, email delivery, security and monitoring providers acting for us.
  • Authorities and advisers: regulators, courts, police, auditors or legal advisers where the law requires it or it is needed to protect people or resolve a dispute.

We do not sell your name, email address, phone number or payout details.

5. Where it is stored

Earnify is run from South Africa and our servers and email service are hosted by Amazon Web Services in the United Kingdom. Payout and offer partners may process information in your country, in South Africa or elsewhere to deliver their service. When we send your information to another country we use protections required by the applicable law, such as agreements with the recipient, or we send it because it is needed to provide the service you asked for.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account and contact details: while your account is open.
  • Saved payout details: until you remove them or delete your account. On deletion the encrypted details are erased.
  • Records of paid withdrawals, wallet transactions and fraud checks: for as long as accounting, tax, anti-money-laundering and dispute rules require, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Support and privacy requests: while needed to answer and show how they were handled.
  • Backups expire on their normal cycle.

7. Your rights

Depending on the law of your country, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to some uses, withdraw consent, and get a copy. Remove a saved payout destination on the withdrawal screen, or email info@earnify.co.za for anything else.

We check it is really you before acting, and answer within the time the law requires. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country, or to South Africa’s Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za), which oversees Earnify.

8. Security

We protect information with encrypted connections, encrypted storage of payout details, password hashing, emailed confirmation codes for new payout destinations and larger withdrawals, staff access controls with logs of who viewed payout details, and fraud monitoring. No online service is completely secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the relevant authorities where the law requires.

9. Adults only

Earnify Africa is only for people aged 18 or older. If we learn that someone younger has an account, we will close it and deal with their information as the law requires.

10. Changes

We will update the date above when this policy changes and tell you about important changes before they take effect, or ask for your consent where the law requires it.
